Dock Equipment

Dock Levelers:

v     Manual Levelers: Offer a variety of dynamic capacities. Provides 18” &  20” lip options in addition to many other custom features. Dual 60,000 lb. Safety legs provide additional strength and support. Includes positive hold-down device, which allows up and down float when in service. Full mechanical, single-handed pull-chain operation means no lifting or straining. Direct extension spring design has no moving parts, which means nothing to service.

v     Operating range of 12” above and 12” below dock allows leveler to be recycled with the truck in position

v     Working range toe guards protect workers from injury during loading and unloading.

v     Hydraulic Levelers: Fully hydraulic levelers offer solid-state proximity sensors to control deck and lip functions, including automatic return to safe cross traffic position when truck departs. The hydraulic system features a 4” main cylinder with 2”ram. Solid-state proximity sensors control all leveler functions including automatic return to cross-traffic position upon truck departure.

l Safety

v     Hydraulic system includes an inline safety stop to prevent free-fall in the event the unit suddenly becomes unsupported.

v     Power unit is totally enclosed, factory wired, and tested per specifications.

v     Lip keepers serve as night locks and provide safe cross traffic support when unit is stored

v     Working range toe guards protect workers from injury during loading and unloading.

Edge of Dock Levelers:

v     Levelers provide an operating range of 5” above and 5” below dock with a minimum lip projection of 12 ¾” and an overall span of 27 ¾”. Dock and lip are constructed of 55,000 lb. Minimum yield steel tread plate. Two bumpers are included with each model as standard equipment. All are equipped with 3 formed steel gussets, providing 30,000 lbs. Of structural support in the store position.

l Simple Operation

v     Mechanical torsion spring lift assist allows simple, one man operation.

v     Leveler raises and extends smoothly onto truck bed with use of convenient lifting hook

v     Unit is easily recycled with truck in position and automatically returns to stored position upon truck departure.

v     Flat models available for pallet jack operation.

Dock Shelters & Dock Seals

v     Dock Seals: Raked cut header on all rigid wood frame models allow for water runoff. Side and top curtain wiper action allows for full access to rear of truck. Snug fit to all trailers. Reinforced wear areas for lasting durability.

v     Dock Shelters: Maximum energy savings. Weather-tite closure. Wear shingle models add years of extra life to seals. All models use highest grade of materials available. Fabric weight protection from 40 oz. to 140 oz.

l Optional Features for both types:

Ø      Galvanized metal hood for overhead protection of seals

Ø      Larger head pad height for high doors and broader range of truck heights

Ø      Tapered units for inclined or declined truck approaches

Truck Restraints

v     Make dock safety affordable and easy. Featuring a high strength unit with a streamlined, low profile housing, the restraint provides a restraining force in excess of 50,000 lbs. The rugged, solid steel housing is built to withstand weathering and truck impact. Self-cleaning spring and hook assembly required no maintenance and only periodic lubrication. Simple operation by using the activation bar. Operator depresses and aligns the hook with the ICC Bar.

      l Safety

Ø     Positive float feature maintains ICC bar contact with hook while allowing free float with vertical truck movement

Ø     Unique activation bar allows semi-automatic operation from top of dock. Eliminates need for dock personnel to leave area

Ø     Complete safety signage is standard. Optional inside /outside manually operated light system with safety signs.

v     Bumpers:  Laminated and molded rubber construction available in a broad array of sizes and shapes to fit your particular needs

v     Dock Lights: Double strut or adjustable folding arm design in standard lengths up to 90”. New, lighter polycarbonate lamp head won’t dent and remains cool to the touch for easier positioning.

v     Wheel Chocks:  Long lasting molded rubber design can be chained to the dock. Laminated models are also available.

v    Protective Railing: Bollards, corner guards, post and door track protectors and safety railing for added safety and protection in the dock area.
